When he shows embarrassment and refuses to give one back to you in public, after you have flown many kisses to him….

 

….telling me that my boy is a bigger boy now, not a clingy easy little child anymore.

Kaiser: mama, I think you are working very hard.

Mama: working hard for what?

Kaiser: working very hard to take care of us!

Mama: (very nice compliment indeed!)

Mama: What’s mama’s job?

Kaiser: Housewife.

Mama: What does a housewife do?

Kaiser: Taking care of Celine and Jeff.

Mama: How about you?

Kaiser: You don’t have to take care of me because I can take care of myself!

Mama: (wow, too good to be true!)

 

 

 

Kaiser: What will happen if I don’t want to move house 20 years later? (Cos he knows it takes years to save enough money to move!)

Mama: We can stay if you don’t want to. But you’ll be 24 by then, you can move out by yourself and stay in your own house.

Kaiser: I want to live with you.

Mama: It’s ok, as long as you come to see me every week and go yum cha with me. I’ll be happy.

Kaiser (thinks a while): Or I can bring you to Admiralty to have buffet! (We had buffet there last week!)

 

Can tell he’s really generous to mama! 

On top of all, he likes the buffet a lot!!
